Shimo 2•OpenVPN cert

I imported my OpenVPN connection and that seemed to set everything correctly. However when I try to connect I get the message "Shimo could not find the necessary key file for this connection or it is invalid..." I reselected the cert in the profile. This is a self-signed cert - is that a problem? This cert works fine for Tunnelblick.
