Shimo 2•Several connection problems - messed up my installation?

2 days ago I tested Shimo without a problem. So I bought the licence and used shimo the whole day. Yesterday morning, I tried Shimo again and suddenly the vpn connection "stuck". I didn't get a connection to my VPN Host. I tried several times and after the third time I got a connection (to a Netgear UTM). The connection was stable. Yesterday night I disconnect and wanted to reconnect. Nothing happened! I wasn't able to connect, so I tried millions of different settings (like changing the direct host IP, changing options, etc.). Then I uninstalled Shimo and reinstalled everything. After a lot of testing I had another problem. The "preshared key" couldn't be saved anymore. I enter the key and after hitting the ok button, the key is gone. There is also no psk.txt created in /Users/XXX/Library/Application Support/Shimo/psk.txt. I tried to recover the psk.txt with time machine. But after I entered a new key in my VPN-profile, the key is gone and the psk.txt is deleted.
Hope somebody could help.

Btw: I am running 10.6.3 on a Macbook Pro.

Because of the psk.txt I found an entry in the log:
2010-04-04 19:50:04.799 Shimo[3114:40b] Error creating new item: -67061
I reinstalled again (with cleaning up everything) - but no success.
